Business Analyst (Contract 1 year)

Responsibilities:

• Manage projects as required on initiatives to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and actively tracked
• Ability to work on large initiatives independently
• Ensure complete delivery of work for a Sprint/Release. By ensuring artefacts are complete and ready for development to begin and assisting teams
• Creation of project artefacts (PR, RFP, PID, Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, Use case, Flow charts, PSAP etc), in various formats, for any initiatives related to Digital Channels
• Facilitate workshops & stakeholder sessions to elicit requirements and specifications for artefacts & deliverables
• Support test creation/execution when required
• Support training to others on new solutions as needed with stakeholders
• Assist with support and mentor junior members of the team
• Provide input to estimations on projects based on Business Requirements
• Assist with the Co-ordination of projects with IT with timely information provided to the teams
• Provide input and recommendations regarding hardware and capacity of channel systems to ensure future needs are met
• Daily involvement in scrum team activities
• Assist with Product Owner and scrum master as required to ensure scrum team meet their delivery agreements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the field of Software Engineering, MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related fields
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Business Analysis, Project management or Product/Process management or in IT solution design
• Self organized and self-motivated
• Collaborative thinking, team work-oriented
• Creativity and business mindset
• Strong analytical skills with systematic and structured approach to documenting business needs (modeling, requirement analysis) and problem solving
• IT fluency regarding architectures, application design and testing
• Ability to communicate effectively in Thai and English (verbal & written)
• Good knowledge of Banking processes and products; both front & back office, both physical & digital
• Has knowledge in Trade finance, Foreign Exchange (FX), Import / Export business or Letter of credit
• Familiarity with project management and software engineering methodologies (use cases, UML, entity/relationship, process modeling, test methods)
• Ability to develop and maintain strong knowledge of a specific application domain and business
• Proven experience working in an agile organization and scrum development framework
• Good English Communication
