    Assistant Manager, Event Services

    Position Details

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including corporate events, live events, and catering functions
    • Work closely with vendors, clients, and team members to ensure the seamless execution of events
    • Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to ensure cost-effective solutions
    • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their satisfaction with the event services provided
    • Assist in marketing and sales efforts to promote event services and attract new clients
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors to enhance event planning processes
    • Supervise event staff and provide leadership and guidance during events


    Qualifications

    • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
    • Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience in event planning, sales, catering, or similar field
    • Knowledge of event planning best practices and industry trends
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills
    • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
    • Team leadership and supervisory skills
