Responsibilities:
• Work with the Project Manager (PM) and project members to analyze product specifications, specification changes, and newly added features
• Participate in project development as a Senior/Principal Software Engineer across all phases: Outline Design, Detail Design, Development/Implementation, Code Review, Unit Testing, and Release; or receive training to become a Principal Software Engineer
• Design databases, develop features, and support team members
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the PM

Must-have Requirements:
• At least 4 years of experience working with PHP. Preference will be given to candidates who are passionate about and enjoy working with pure/native PHP.
• Experience with one or more PHP frameworks such as: Laravel, CodeIgniter, Yii 2, CakePHP, Zend
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, Ajax
• Proficient in PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Proficient in Git (UI / Command line)
• Experience using IDEs such as PHPStorm

Nice-to-have / Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, React.js, AngularJS
• Experience working with editors such as CKEditor, BeePlugin
• Experience working with templating engines such as Smarty3, Smarty4
• Experience with Batch processing, Crontab, and APIs
• Experience handling large-scale data processing in databases (Insert / Update / Delete)
• Experience working with CentOS servers
• Experience in code review
• Good ability to read and understand English documentation
• Ability to read, understand, and analyze business requirements from customers
• Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills
• Ability to create and present clear technical documentation and share knowledge with colleagues
• Good communication skills
• Understanding of processes and working style in Japanese companies is a plus

Salary and Bonuses
• 13th&14th month salary; full SI based on 100% of gross salary
