โดยปกติแล้วสามารถแบ่งประเภทอาชีพแห่งอนาคตแบ่งออกได้เป็น 3 ประเภทใหญ่ๆ ได้แก่ พลังงานหมุนเวียน, ตัวเลขและข้อมูล และ การดูแลสุขภาพ
จากผลกระทบของ covid-19 เปลี่ยนแปลงรูปแบบการใช้ชีวิตพฤติกรรมของผู้คน และภาคธุรกิจไม่น้อยโดยเฉพาะ ด้านตลาดแรงงานที่ได้รับผลกระทบไปเต็มๆ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นรูปแบบการทำงานที่เปลี่ยนไปจากเดิมอาชีพที่ถูกลดความสำคัญลง แต่ก็ยังมีอาชีพที่เป็นที่ต้องการของตลาดมากขึ้น
โดยสำนักงานสถิติแรงงานของสหรัฐอเมริกา ได้เผย 10 อาชีพมาแรงในอีกสิบปีข้างหน้า มีดังนี้
เนื่องจากบริษัทต่างๆจะต้องใช้พลังงานสะอาดมากขึ้นเพราะเป็นสิ่งที่สังคมต้องการ แนวโน้มการเติบโต 68.2 %
เป็นบุคลากรในทีมสุขภาพมีบทบาทในการดูแลสุขภาพที่เน้นความครอบคลุมของการจัดบริการขั้นพื้นฐานได้อย่างเป็นองค์รวมซึ่งเป็นอาชีพที่เติมโตได้มาก แนวโน้มการเติบโต 52.2 %
เนื่องจากปัจจุบันโซลาร์เซลล์เป็นที่นิยมอย่างมากและเป็นแนวโน้มที่จะเติบโตแบบก้าวกระโดด จึงทำให้อาชีพเหลานี้เป็นที่ต้องการอย่างมาก แนวโน้มการเติบโต 52.1 %
เป็นอาชีพที่ทำงานเกี่ยวกับเรื่อง Data ซึ่งเป็นพื้นฐานสำหรับธุระกิจหรือสายงานต่างๆ แนวโน้มการเติบโต 35.4 %
การกายภาพบำบัดเติบโตเนื่องจากการที่ประชากรของโลกเริ่มมีอายุมากขึ้น เป็นอาชีพที่เติบโตค่อนข้างจะแน่นอน แนวโน้มการเติบโต 35.4 %
เนื่องจาก Cyber Security เป็นเรื่องสำคัญมากๆ ธนาคารเองก็จำเป็นต้องพึ่ง Cyber security จึงจำเป็นต้องพึ่งอาชีพนี้ แนวโน้มการเติบโต 33.3 %
สังคมผู้สงอายุจะต้องการสายงานอาชีพนี้มากๆและเป็นงานที่ต้องใช้ความอดทนสูง แนวโน้มการเติบโต 32.6 %
ดูแลพเกี่ยวกับเรื่องสุภาพองค์รวมของลูกค้า ไม่จำเป็นที่จะต้องป่วยก่อน แนวโน้มการเติบโต 32.5 %

6.Information Security Analyst, as cybersecurity is extremely important and banks rely heavily on it, necessitating this occupation. (Growth trend: 33.3%)
7.Home Health Care Aide, an aging society will heavily demand this patient care occupation requiring high patience. (Growth trend: 32.6%)
8.Health Services Manager, overseeing customers' overall wellness, not necessarily when ill. (Growth trend: 32.5%)
