TBSC-Export Senior Officer

Responsibilities

Orders Fulfilment Management

• Collaborate with sales teams to review Sales Forecast and then create Purchase Order/Sales Order in system as monthly basis.
• Optimize inventory level to ensure the sufficiency and appropriateness of stock.
• Minimize issues and provide visibility of forwarded stock, overstock & understock to proactively rectify gaps in Inventory and service level.
• Sharing a stock status to related parties when facing a supply problem or excessive stock etc.
• Monitor Shipment clearance / Movement, according to corporate and local policies.

Custom Clearance

• Understand HS, duty, and required import regulation for import process.
• Check shipping document and confirm declaration form for custom clearance.(Customs Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origins, etc.)
• Coordinates with Custom Agent for custom clearance, and Warehouse for cargo delivery.
• Identify and monitor risks & opportunities, provide with proactive solutions that will eliminate or mitigate risks related to import and customs.
• Coordinate with the related parties to solve issues related to import business.
• Ensure importing smoothness and provide data, document(s), letter(s), evidence(s) as requested by local customs.
• Proactively keep up-to-date the law and regulation of the Custom Department and other related organization related to Import process.

Sub Responsibilities

• Seeking new knowledge and applying it for continuous improvement.
• Study cost saving initiative.
• Supervise team and be mentor to lower level.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Supply Chain Management/Logistics or related field.
• At least 4 - 5 years of experience in the field of Import-Export, Logistics or related field.
• Strong in Customs Formality Process and Regulation, Customs Specialist Certification is an advantage.
• Good command of spoken and written English (TOEIC > 500 scores)
• Strong PC skills especially EXCEL and familiar with MS Outlook (e.g. SAP is a plus)
• Teamwork & cross-collaborate with multiple departments and carry out changes and updates to team members.
• Good negotiating skills, strong analytical and problem-solving.
