Ice Cream Procurement Specialist - Thailand Packaging

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and supplier performance evaluation for packaging suppliers in TH supporting Minburi Ice Cream factory and co-packing PMs for MYSG.

• Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies for packaging materials.

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals favorable to the company

• Analyze procurement data to identify and implement cost-savings opportunities supporting the business growth and improve procurement processes with suppliers and cross functional teams.

• Monitor supplier performance by maintain strong relationships to ensure consistent supply and quality, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements.

• Collaborate with internal teams, including R&D, Production, Quality Assurance and Logistics Teams to ensure packaging materials meet operational needs.

• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, new materials, and innovative packaging solutions.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and sustainability initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Procurement, with a focus on packaging materials in the FMCG industry.

• Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in procurement software and tools.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in procurement.
