In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Review/Analyze customer’s specification and identify scope of supply and qualify exceptions/compliance on timely basis
- Develop & prepare system design/solution, technical write up & data sheets to meet the customer specifications and applicable standards.
- Co-operate with project team/project manager/engineering for the most effective / advantage solution against competitors
- Provide cost effective and accurate/optimize solution for the industries served
- Ensure consistency and quality in the proposed solution
- Quantify commercial & technical risks
- Manage technical expectations of customers. Support technical negotiation. Responding to technical clarifications and attending meetings with customers if required for clarifications purpose.
- Develop specification for bought out items and obtain competitive quotes.
- Improve use of Emerson products and solutions.
- Prepare cost estimation & commercial proposal/GP
- Prepare complete proposal and review with Projects and Sales team involved
- Effective co-ordination with Sales team, project team and/or other business unit.
- Maintain log of all out going proposals, win/lost proposal and ensuring proper update in company database
- Handing over of proposal to project group on receipt of purchase order with all back-up documents.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in proposal team
- Experience with small and big project proposal generation
- Experience with control systems and / or software product
- Suggesting the best optimize solution to win the project
- Accurate on all project cost items
- Time management and prioritize the important of the project
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Degree in control engineer or any related or equivalent field
- Understanding of control protocols and concepts
- Experience with software selling will be advantage
- Excellent on proposal tools and communication skills will be advantage
- Work hard and hard-working to get the good result
