Lead timelines, supplier commissioning at a project level, which includes using internal project management software.
Supervise the hours budgeted and used by departments at a project level and assist at an overall level to ensure projects are handled efficiently
Run Project Review Meetings and document project findings.
Compiles project specific findings and assist in the overall reporting of project findings.
Provide clear, accurate and timely cost estimations to Client Services team for up to mid-level complexity projects and prepare costs for other/mixed methodologies and more sophisticated projects.
Involved in Project Planning Meetings to discuss and recommend the appropriate and most cost effective project design (prior to cost estimation request or when cost estimation request has been received but further clarification is needed).
Act as a consultant to Client Services team on an ongoing basis regarding cost drivers, project efficiency and standard process for projects.
Helps to ensure that the needs of clients/Client Services team are being met and that they are receiving appropriate levels of service for cost requests and timelines prior to commissioning.
Tracking, supervising and analyzing supplier costs, including questioning costs which do not seem correct and advising CS how to apply suppliers in the most cost efficient way at a project and product level.

Role Requirements
At least 2-3 years’ experience in project management/fieldwork
Commercial competence - need to be knowledgeable of methods of costing, pricing, filing commercial paper work like PO, Invoices. Working on cross country prising, costings and commercial projects will be an added advantage
Logistical proficiency: person will be responsible to supervising and leading all logistical functions of a research unit - handling suppliers, negotiating delivery schedules, negotiating costing rates, negotiating and ensuring best timelines.
Email communication skills: must be comfortable and confident in conversing in emails in English. Must be able to assimilate to email conversations, and respond accordingly.
Comfortable with technology: Must be eager to learn and use technology in our work.
Fundamental analysis skills: has appreciation of brands and how consumers behave in the market which will help in the ability to understand and grasp the fundamentals of consumer behaviour
Developed mentoring skills in supporting a cohesive team environment
Developed ability to build strong client relationships
Developed analytical, deductive and negotiating skills
Attention to detail and accuracy (is responsible for the production and delivery of quality outputs at all times
