Strategic Planning: Define the business strategy and plan for the Food & Water SEA Division in alignment with the Division's overall strategy, objectives, and targets.
Business Development: Develop the business by implementing relevant sales and business development activities, including market analysis, pricing strategies, customer visits, seminars, and other initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Sales Forecasting and Budgeting: Forecast sales and prepare budgets for the division. Monitor progress against objectives and financial targets, promptly identifying and addressing any issues to improve overall performance.
Sales Efficiency: Proactively and systematically work on optimizing the sales efficiency of the team by implementing best practices, streamlining processes, and utilizing available tools and resources effectively.
Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership to the sales team, offering direction, guidance, and support. Ensure that the team adheres to the sales plan and follows the established sales process. Place a special focus on the lead-to-opportunity and opportunity-to-quote sub-processes.
Team Development: Develop, motivate, and coach direct reports to enhance their competencies in sales, product knowledge, and application expertise. Encourage continuous learning and professional growth within the team.
What You Know
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably within the Food & Water industry or a related field.
Strong business acumen with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze market trends and data.
