The Reservations Agent is responsible and accountable for all operations in relation to the Reservations area of the Hotel whilst on duty. All computer input, manual filing procedures and statistical information relevant to reservations must be of high quality. You should strive to provide the most comprehensive and accurate information, to telephone callers, guests and other staff and Department of the Hotel.
Responsible to ensure that all information relating to a reservation is keyed correctly into the system and is of highest quality, and errors are kept to an absolute minimum. This practice will allow the production of sure and correct statistical information which will in turn enchance the overall Hotel operation.
Ensure that all guests’ queries and requests are attended to in a helpful, professional yet warm and friendly manner.
To ensure that all telephone enquiries are provided with concise information concerning the services and facilities provided by the Hotel.
The Reservation Has a major responsibility in conjunction with the Reservations Supervisor to ensure that all times, the hotel is operating at maximum occupancy levels and the following are achieved;
upselling the property where at all possible
being constantly aware and in touch with forecasted occupancies for the future
Being aware of group block bookings or allotments which may or may not have been utilized

Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar capacity or preferably in the area of guest services/telemarketing
Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
