Regional Retail Pricing Manager-Based in Bangkok
This is a high-impact, cross-functional leadership role designed to elevate pricing into a key strategic lever for growth, innovation, and operational excellence across six Southeast Asian markets. As the Regional Pricing Strategy & Analytics Lead, you will drive pricing innovation, lead system and data enhancements, streamline automation, and act as a key partner across product, operations, and commercial functions.
1. Pricing Strategy & Execution
Design and implement market-responsive pricing strategies.
Support commercial teams in developing pricing models that balance competitiveness and profitability.
Elevate pricing into a growth driver, not just a back-office function.
2. Data-Driven Innovation & Analytics
Analyze complex datasets to generate actionable insights.
Use AI-powered tools, segmentation, predictive models, and trend analysis to optimize pricing decisions.
Quickly translate insights into strategic recommendations.
3. Competitive Intelligence & Vendor Management
Lead competitive intelligence strategies and execution.
Manage external data vendors, ensure data quality and strategic integration.
Convert market data into meaningful, actionable decisions.
4. System Enhancement & Process Automation
Lead pricing system upgrades and automation initiatives.
Collaborate with product/ops teams to define system requirements and drive user acceptance testing (UAT).
Develop scalable, tech-driven tools to streamline operations.
Provide user training and support.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operational Impact
Align pricing strategies with commercial, product, and operations goals.
Develop success metrics, performance dashboards, and workflows that support data-informed decision-making.
Act as a strategic and operational leader, from vision to hands-on execution.
6. Regional Capability Building
Train and empower local pricing teams with best practices.
Lead onboarding, knowledge sharing, and problem-solving across markets.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and alignment across SEA.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Proven experience in pricing, data analytics, project management, and competitive intelligence.
Strong cross-functional leadership in fast-paced environments.
Advanced technical skills: SQL, Excel, automation, system integration.
Experience with UAT and product development cycles.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Analytical mindset with hands-on experience handling large datasets.
Experience working across multiple countries (preferably in retail, e-commerce, or tech).
Self-starter mindset with strong ownership and adaptability.
Good to Have:
Chinese language proficiency is a strong advantage.
