You will be developing your leadership skills by guiding and supervising technicians and less experienced peers, preparing project test documentation and providing technical support during installation of test objects, assisting in the preparation of proposals for Engineering projects and following work plans and cost estimates to ensure high quality and timely implementation within targeted cost.
You will be supporting risk and opportunity assessments and reporting any contract, quality, program or cost issues for resolution, maintaining a strong presence in the engineering industry, collaborating with a network of engineering professionals and sharing knowledge and best practices across different projects and maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project.
You will have sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and tools, including Microsoft office and outlook usage experience, strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines and a high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies.
You will share collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills, support the development and maintenance of quality standards, utilize Six Sigma and other statistical tools to improve process and product quality.
You will involve in target defects, rework, material rejects and customer complaints to lower COPQ and improve customer satisfaction, implement improvement actions to ensure NCR/CAR/PAR/CCRP/DAR will not reoccur and develop work practices to ensure all people knowledge and skills are fit for purpose.
You will develop work procedures + practices to ensure they are fit for purpose, report and implement improvement actions for all COPQ for the department and support QMS, Audit and document control, work effectively with all other QA/QC departments and attend regular QA/QC meetings to ensure all BU objectives are achieved.
You will conduct process evaluation audits within your department to ensure that processes are defined and appropriately documented, and that they are fully deployed and effective in providing the expected results, conduct audits of the quality system in your department, ensure quality documentation is maintained and upgraded and train staff on all TQM procedures.

Your Background
You hold bachelor’s degree in electrical engineer or similar field
Minimum 1 years of experience in quality inspection and control, preferably in the transformer industry.
1 to 3 years of experience in transformer manufacturing industry or similar.
Sound knowledge of Environment, Quality and Safety.
Strong ability to make change with solid proof and manage complex issues and work with cross-functional teams.
Conducting testing and verification activities for assignments of low/medium testing complexity of systems, subsystems or products.
A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
