QA- Performance Test Engineer (Krungsri Nimble)
Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and execute performance test plans and strategies for banking applications.
2. Utilize performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling to simulate real-world banking scenarios and analyze system performance.
3. Conduct performance testing on various banking systems, including online banking platforms, transaction processing systems, and mobile banking applications.
4. Identify performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and scalability issues through performance monitoring and analysis.
5. Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and ensure adherence to performance requirements.
6. Generate performance test reports and provide recommendations for performance improvements to stakeholders.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in performance testing for banking applications.
8. Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and performance tuning efforts to enhance application performance.
9. Work closely with QA, development, and operations teams to ensure a seamless integration of performance testing into the software development lifecycle.
10. Proactively identify and address performance risks and issues throughout the software development process.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in performance testing, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
3. Strong proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
4. Solid understanding of performance testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
5. Experience with performance monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or New Relic.
6. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Shell scripting for test automation.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex performance issues.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
9. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
10. Relevant certifications in performance testing or software quality assurance are desirable.
