Serve as a subject matter expert for automation solutions, including material handling automation, equipment automation, and equipment-process automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align requirements, develop solutions, and implement automated solutions within the manufacturing environment.
Accountable for collecting new requirements and formulating appropriate automation proposals.
Facilitate the review of new automation proposals with the internal team and initiate potential business case and benefits evaluation.
Direct attention toward technical development and collaborate with solution partners to implement the solution within the manufacturing environment.
Lead the mechanical automation design, coordinate the development of electronic, software control, and interface with Infineon factory integration team.
Drive the design standardization and new technology toolboxes under the BE I4.0 automation pillar technical team support.
Provide operational support for the implementation of new automation projects in production, ensuring stabilization and achieving the required capability.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science field.
Extensive 5-10 years' experience in developing customized automatic solutions, including new equipment and handling system design and etc.
Design 3D software skills with SolidWorks or Inventor.
Experience in integrating automatic solutions such as Cobot, Robot, AMR, and material handling automation applications within the production area.
Proficiency in general processes such as auto load/unload, laser marking, auto packing, and vision inspection-related tasks.
Preferred experience in specific equipment design and development within the Semiconductor Backend, ideally spanning 3-5 years.
Understanding of automation system control, PC & PLC control methods, and the integration of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for the dispatch of automation jobs.
Experience with FlexSim simulation or other simulation software is a valuable asset.
Foundational knowledge of programming with C#/C++/Python is advantageous.
Experience in project management with PJM skills and knowledge is advantageous.
Capable of collaborating effectively within both local and international teams.
Proficient in written and oral English.
