Provide scientific guidance and robust medical direction to drive the business throughout the lifecycle of designated products
Ensure that the right patients can take advantage of the full benefits of Boehringer Ingelheim products by collaborating with internal and external partners for the success of the company
Duties & Responsibilities
Provides medical information and scientific advice and expertise to internal and external stakeholders.
Co-leads the medical strategy and develops the medical contents of the integrated medical brand/customer plan for assigned products and pipelines
Trains, educates and supports related local functions (e.g., marketing colleagues, sales force etc.)
Develops and maintains medical expertise for relevant BI products to meet both internal and external customer needs
Identifies and maps key external experts. Develops professional relationship with medical experts, key stakeholders and members of the scientific community; through face-to-face individual or group scientific exchanges, and documents interactions in the company provided platforms
Works with local experts to support local Investigator-initiated studies (IIS) where applicable
Requirements
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in pharmacy
At least 4 years’ experience as a Medical Liaison/Medical Affairs in the pharmaceutical industry
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with KOLs and HCPs
Strong collaboration skills with experience working in cross-functional teams.
