Position Details

Responsibilities:

Pomelo is a leading online fashion company in Emerging Asia. Backed by fashion and technology investors from across the world, Pomelo brings its unique fast fashion style to Emerging Asia through a technology-driven, vertically-integrated design, and production model. Our growth strategy is to merge our online focus of mobile and social with the latest trends and data.

We are looking for an IT-Support Specialist to join a fast-growing team. You will work with the IT Support Director to ship beautiful backend structures that will allow the company to build products that delight millions of users throughout Asia and beyond. Continue improving the initial build of the group including the related tools used such as ticketing system, knowledge management tools.

 

  • Assist users’ requests and advise users via all communication channels such as Jira
  • tickets and slack.
  • Provide technical support for Apple products
  • Oversee new joiners and be responsible for the resignation process.
  • Monitor all issues at both Warehouse Bangna and the Studio at the Parq 3rd Floor.
  • Manage all IT assets including replacement and write-off.
  • Installing new hardware (servers, printers, computer workstations, etc.).
  • The administrator of IT systems such as Google Workspace, Slack, Office365, Jira,
  • and also internal applications (Henry, Apollo)
  • General IS (Information System) troubleshooting. For example, printer problems.
  • Supervising hardware inventory.
  • Overseeing security of all systems, especially the internet, and antivirus protection.
  • Maintain the IT infrastructure of the Business, keeping regular maintenance of all the
  • devices across the offices and warehouses.
  • Be a person in charge of any IT-related ad-hoc project and ensure IT projects are
  • completed on time and on budget.
  • Contact and coordinate with each department for any related IT projects.
  • Oversee procurement & purchasing of IT equipment.
  • Contact, Coordinate, and manage service providers, vendors, and contracts.
  • Standby for any event and campaign as the company requests.
  • Support the IT retail team when they request.
  • Initiate new ideas and implement them to grow with the retail business plan.

 

Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate in English at a high level.
  • Familiarity with GSuite, Slack and Jira will be advantageous.
  • Able to work outside the office (Warehouse).
  • Highly energetic, self-motivated and self-driven, with demonstrated ability to work.
  • independently, in a distributed team environment.
  • Multi-tasking, strong sense of responsibility, proactiveness and eagerness to learn.
