Intern for Operation coordinator

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

Inventory Controller

• Responsible for handle the daily inventory activity for inbound & outbound for the different entity/s.
• Liaise with merchandising, stores and third-party warehouse to ensure the accuracy and to investigate on any stock discrepancy.
• Prevent and monitor inventory discrepancies and ensure they can be reconciled.
• Manage store transfer and stock adjustment effectively.
• Perform write off once credit note is issued for return of stock etc.
• Perform periodic stock-take and investigate the discrepancies and post the results.
• Review the shrinkage and liaise with the respective department to in place preventive measure to reduce stock loss.
• Liaise with stores to ensure that discount, price override applied are in line with the company policy.
• Resolve any inventory issues in a timely manner.
• Using your extensive Excel skills, build and optimize current ways of working through automation.
• Develop existing Inventory guidelines, prepare and deliver training to ensure best practice back of house procedures.
• Timely inventory reports and analysis to management.
• Other Ad Hoc operation as required.

Wholesale Duty free Coordinator

• Understand duty free wholesale logistic flow for the process and timeline
• Assist on improvement and solution for shorter timeline of inbound delivery between free zone warehouses
• Monitoring and following up closely on wholesale delivery flow and coordinate with third-party logistic company and intercompany share services team to ensure the time spend is align with standard guideline with accuracy document issues
• Escalate and work on the resolution of complex cases with supervisors and communicate to all relevant departments
• Support, monitor and following up for inbound process with client and Wholesale customer service to ensure efficiency process movement from every parties
• Coordinate with Wholesale customer service to get update the Product library to ensure client has update information for issue PO as per our product billing.
• Coordinate with Pricing office for any client query related to Retails price and Price change event
• Other Ad Hoc operation as required.

Qualifications:

• “Can do” attitude
• Working experience 1-3 years
• Good level of attention to detail and cautiously
• Good computer skills i.e. SAP, JDA
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel and Word) – including VLOOKUP, Pivot & Macro
• Fair communication in English or above
