    Head of Death and Major Claims

    Position Details

    JOB SUMMARY:

    - Co-operate with Vice President and high-level executive to initiate project and action plan to support the company’s business plan and direction.

    - Transfer the policy from high management to the team via project and action plan.

    - Manage direct down line for planning, organizing, setting up and evaluating performance in major and death claim of Ordinary Life, Accident and Health and Group business.

    - Manage and provide suggestion to complicated case in term of OIC complaint or witness in court in sued case.

    - Manage project and action plan of all functions of major and death claim by motivating, monitoring and advise proper solution to down line manager.

    - Co-operate with other departments, reinsurer and partners for initiative, negotiating and setting up process to improve business.

    - Improve claim process with the most efficiency.


    Main Responsibility:

    - Motivate and organize team to perform all functions of major and death claim for all distribution channel with good quality as per commitment and with good team work environment.

    - Monitor team performance and find a proper tool to indicate and improve all functions in team.

    - Provide expertise to team to improve their process and team performance.

    - Support internal & external customers and deliver outcome with good quality to them.

    - Design proper major and death claim guideline and revise it regularly to be competitive and up to date professionally.

    - Initiate project and action plan to support the company’s business plan and direction.

    - Prepare & update user manual/ SOP for new & existing products for all distribution channels to comply with internal & external regulation.

    - Perform other duties or special assignment as required.


    Qualification:

    - Bachelor’s degree in any fields, medical or legal field is preferred.

    - At least totally 7 years experienced in insurance business including at least 5 years of major and death claim.

    - Team management experienced at least 5 years

    - Managerial competencies: Analytical skill, logical and initiative skill, good communication, service mind, proactive team work, ability to work with under pressure.

    - Strong English language

    - Strong Computer skill : Ms Office
