Senior Legal Officer

Responsibility :

• Provide legal advice and recommendations related to the business operations of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) group, as well as advice on relevant laws.
• Consider drafting, amending, and providing opinions on contracts, agreements, and various documents of the SET group.
• Provide advice, recommendations, and guidelines on taxation.
• Provide advice and recommendations on compliance with contracts and agreements of the SET group, including participating in negotiations with contractual parties in case of disputes.
• Handle trademark registration (both domestic and international) for the SET group.
• Enhance and promote awareness among SET group employees regarding potential legal risks arising from other laws related to the SET group's business operations and other relevant laws.
• Provide legal services related to contracts for external organizations associated with the SET, such as the Stock Exchange of Thailand Foundation, CMDF, FETCO, etc.
• Manage the organization's legal risks in complying with new laws, such as PDPA (Personal Data Protection Act).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification :

• Graduated with at least a Master's degree in Law (preference will be given to candidates with a Master's degree in Law from a leading overseas university).
• At least 2 years of work experience in the legal field (preference will be given to candidates with experience in providing legal advice in the financial business).
• Possess effective thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, using creative thinking, along with an understanding of the organization's business and related businesses.
• Have good interpersonal skills and able to work well under pressure.
• Possess knowledge and direct experience in applying capital market-related laws. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in tax, digital laws, or knowledge of artificial intelligence technology.
• Able to read and write in English proficiently
