Finance Strategy Department Manager

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Finance Business Partner to join our Finance Strategy team. This role plays a critical part in driving financial performance and commercial success by providing insightful analysis, strong financial guidance, and strategic partnership to business leaders across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess deep financial expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to work collaboratively across multifunctional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a strategic partner to business units by providing financial insights and commercial analysis to support in key initiative projects, pricing & promotion strategies, investment decisions, cost structure improvement, and management’s decision making to drive business growth and profitability.

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting process as well as ensure the alignment with business strategies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain financial models to assess commercial performance, business scenarios, and return on investment.

• Ensure financial practices follow the accounting standards and internal policies.

• Identify risks and opportunities and proactively recommend solutions to enhance business performance.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in finance roles, with a strong foundation in accounting principles.

• Proven experience in business partnering, financial reporting, analysis, and financial modeling skills

• Strong understanding of business and commercial models, ideally in the retail sector.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and lead projects independently.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

• Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Power BI, Excel, etc.).

• Prior experience in retail, FMCG, or consumer-focused industries.

• Experience in data-driven environments with the ability to interpret and visualize financial data into business actions.
