EXPEDITOR

Responsibilities

• Follow up with suppliers on work progress and shipment of goods, maintaining updated information in the system.
• Coordinate with overseas subsidiary companies to ensure timely delivery of intercompany orders.
• Determine expected delivery dates and inform Project Managers of any potential delays.
• Instruct the Shipping Department to arrange shipments when goods are ready for delivery.
• Compile, record, and report project performance and progress to management.

Knowledge

• Proficiency in Excel spreadsheet operations.

Technical Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in purchasing.
• Knowledge of the purchasing process and business acumen.
• Proficiency in Excel spreadsheet operations.
• Skills in data analysis and management.
• Technical purchasing and sourcing skills, with emphasis on reading drawings and understanding manufacturing processes.
• Experience in negotiating, contract execution, and handling quotations with suppliers.
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).

Soft Skills

• Strong technical purchasing and sourcing skills, particularly in reading drawings and understanding manufacturing processes.
