Job Description:
- Direct management of the Engineering Team with overall responsibility for achieving schedule requirements for updated regulation, local standard, international standard and local grid code.
- Continue to develop key performance indicators to monitor the procurement costs to align with epc market price in each country.
- Regulation and technology watch.
- Create and improve the internal standards.
- Assure and follow up the implementation of the internal standards.
- Prepare the CAD drawings of the Solar System, Single Line Diagram in DC and AC, Modules Implantation etc.
- Perform self-check for all drawings of photovoltaic projects in Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam.
- Ensure full compliance with quality, H&S systems, PV international standard and Local grid code.
- Justify and support in cost assessment (EPC cost, raw material cost, and technology watch).
- Support technical and operational team as requested.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related technical field (Mechanical, Civil, etc.)
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in electrical design, power generation, and/or field operation.
- Previous experience in team management and in project management mode.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Leadership and team management skill
- Strong written and verbal skills in Thai and English
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and design procedures are required.
- Proficient in PVsyst and Microsoft Excel is desired.
- Good knowledge of Thai and International Electrical Standards, Electrical Design and Local Grid Requirement.
- Experience on full EPC, Design or Build projects from start to finish is a plus.
- Knowledge in solar market including cost and material assessment.
- Good time management skills and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary.
- Ability to work with multiple functions to coordinate the flow of information.
- Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
- Ability to travel is required.
