E-commerce Platform Developer

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Market Analysis: Analyze top E-Commerce platforms and retail industry trends to benchmark against industry standards. Regularly survey industry advancements to recommend features and capabilities for implementation that align with or surpass these benchmarks.
• Development Planning: Translate business requirements into actionable development plans, monitor progress until project launch, and coordinate with external partners throughout the process.
• Quality Assurance: Actively monitor key performance indicators, such as GTmetrix and Google PageSpeed Insights, to identify and suggest specific areas of improvement to external partners.
• Initial Investigation: Analyze data, reproduce issues, and suggest possible root causes, in liaison with external partners.
• Issue Resolution: Ensure timely case resolution by following up, liaising with technical teams, IT partners, and escalating issues as needed, all in collaboration with external partners.
• Performance Optimization: Assist in gathering statistics, reporting, and analyzing digital performance data to develop strategies for optimizing conversion rates and enhancing website performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience with Shopify is preferred.
• Experience with online or E-Commerce platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL, HTML, Python, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages.
• UI design experience using Figma is a plus. Familiarity with database platforms such as MySQL, PostgreSQL is advantageous.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills.
• Organizational skills and a proactive approach.
• Proficiency in SQL, HTML, Python, and JavaScript
• Keen interest in learning new skills and staying updated with E-Commerce industry trends.
