DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the transition of on-premise infrastructure to cloud environments, aiming to achieve a more cloud-centric infrastructure.
• Design and implement scalable, secure cloud solutions while maintaining and optimizing existing on-premise servers.
• Develop and maintain DevSecOps pipelines, integrating automation to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure for maximum efficiency and reliability.
• Document infrastructure designs and maintain records of system configurations and updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support development and operational activities.
• Automate routine tasks and processes to enhance team productivity and system performance.

Skills:

• Virtualization: Proxmox, Hyper-V, VMware.
• Cloud Platforms: Huawei Cloud, GCP, AWS, Azure (At least one of the following)
• Operating Systems: Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows Server
• Database: mysql, mariadb, postgresql, sql, cockroachdb, mongodb, elasticsearch, redis
• Networking Basics: firewall configuration, IP management, DNS, routing, reverse proxy, and VPN setups.
• Container Orchestration: Kubernetes, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Ansible and Terraform.
• CI/CD Tools: Jenkins and GitLab, GitOps tools like ArgoCD
• Monitoring and Logging: Grafana, Loki, InfluxDB, Telegraf, and Prometheus.
• Programming Languages: Skilled in Bash scripting and Python.
• Logical Thinking: Strong ability to approach problems methodically.
• Critical Thinking: Capable of objective analysis and evaluation of issues.
• Clear Communication: Effective in conveying information and ideas.
• Task Management: Efficient in organizing and managing tasks.
