    Position Details

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Chief Commercial Officer to develop and execute a comprehensive merchandising strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals and objectives. Implement strategies to optimize product assortment, pricing, and promotions to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
    • Vendor Management: Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, secure exclusive products, and ensure high-quality, timely merchandise delivery. Work closely with the procurement team to enhance vendor relationships and continually improve product offerings.
    • Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and management to the merchandising team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. Set clear performance expectations, provide ongoing feedback and coaching, and empower team members to excel in their roles.
    • Assortment Planning: Oversee the development and execution of merchandise assortment plans, ensuring a well-balanced and diverse product mix that meets customer demand while driving profitability. Stay abreast of market trends, customer preferences, and competitive offerings to inform assortment decisions.
    • Pricing and Promotions: Lead the pricing strategy and promotional planning to optimize margins, sales, and customer engagement. Utilize data-driven insights to develop and adjust pricing and promotion plans, ensuring competitive positioning and value proposition.
    • Merchandising Operations: Streamline and optimize merchandising processes and operations to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Work cross-functionally with teams such as inventory management, marketing, and sales to ensure seamless execution of merchandising strategies.
    • Performance Analytics: Leverage data and analytics to evaluate merchandising performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business impact and make informed decisions to enhance merchandising effectiveness.
    • Innovation and New Initiatives: Drive innovation and spearhead new merchandising initiatives to differentiate our product offerings, enhance the customer experience, and drive competitive advantage in the market.
