Major Tasks and Responsibilities
Develop & Implement Insights Strategy:
- Design and execute research plans encompassing B2B and B2C methodologies (surveys, focus groups, ethnography, social listening).
- Lead the selection and implementation of relevant market research tools and technologies.
- Establish & maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across B2B and B2C functions (marketing, product, sales).
- B2C: understand consumer needs preferences and behavior by being able to utilize technology and tools to gather data and insights to relate to the specific needs of consumers (market, consumer segmentation, and consumer persona)
Collect & Analyze Consumer Data:
- Manage and analyze quantitative & qualitative data from various sources (surveys, market research reports, social media).
- Identify key trends, needs, and pain points in both B2B and B2C customer segments.
- Develop insightful reports and presentations that translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
Drive Business Impact:
- Partner with B2B and B2C teams to translate consumer insights into actionable strategies (product development, marketing campaigns, pricing).
- Track and measure the impact of insights-driven initiatives on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Continuously refine consumer understanding based on market feedback and business performance.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, or related field.
- Master’s degree preferred.
Skills / Experiences:
- 5+ years of experience in consumer insights research, ideally with exposure to B2B and/or B2C markets.
- Experience working within a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
- Knowledge of B2B and B2C marketing principles and best practices.
- Proven ability to design, execute, and analyze quantitative and qualitative research studies.
- Expertise in data analysis tools and techniques (SPSS, Excel, etc.).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor insights for diverse audiences (B2B & B2C).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong business acumen and a passion for understanding consumer behavior.
