What You Will Be Responsible For
Essential functions for the position includes but not limited to the followings:
- The ability to answer phone inquiries promptly with a pleasant tone of voice, using names when possible, and routes calls to proper extensions.
- The ability to handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints; assists customers in all inquiries in connection with high-speed Internet service, telephone and facsimile services, hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
- The ability to understand with telephone switchboard, the hotel computer system and facsimile machines.
- The ability to accept and delivers wake-up calls, messages and facsimiles in a timely manner.
- The ability to monitor and responds to hotel fire control panel and emergency and safety situations in an efficient and professional manner.
- The ability to prepare and update the telephone extension directory as required. The ability to assist with "Do Not Disturb" requests, screening calls, busy extensions, transferring calls, call forwarding, call holding, call pick-up, call waiting, three-way conversations, collect calls, visitors, and paging equipment. The ability to assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the areas of reservations including checking the reservation and able to delegate to concerned department. ( Front Office, Concierge )
- The ability to assist with Restaurant, Spa and Limousine reservation and delegate to concerned department.
- The ability to report and log all telephone maintenance and operational problems, ensure follow- up on a continuous basis.
- The ability to ensure messages are handled accurately and in a timely manner.
- The ability to coordinate all special telephone requests for guests in meeting or guest rooms.
- The ability to response to messenger chat messages in a timely manner and ensuring that all guests requests are handled.
- The ability to perform other duties or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
- The ability to comply with Four Seasons standards, while working harmoniously and professionally with team members.
What You Will Bring
- We are looking for individuals who have a solid knowledge of Telephone Operator knowledge. The candidates must have good computer and effective communication skills both Thai and English.
- In addition, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, operational knowledge of front desk operation, knowledge of hotel, tourist and business related information and able to prioritize and adapt to the changing needs of the operation.
- Flexibility to work in shift including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Preferably possess some experiences in Telephone Operator system, especially with Four Seasons or any other luxury environment organizations. Must hold the legal right to work in Thailand.
