Channel Manager - Makro (Trade Marketing)
Responsibilities:
Develop channel strategy and activity plans regarding the 4Ps (Product/Price/Place/Promotion) for each channel, leading the overall category, channel, and a shopper agenda for Malt Food Drink Powder, RTD and RTE in Makro to drive category growth and meet business objectives.
Provide detailed analysis of category, channel, shopper, and competitor insights using both internal and external data (e.g., Customer offtake data), and use these insights to proactively develop actions that support business and channel objectives.
Develop the "perfect store" concept and implement channel execution plans, ensuring their effectiveness in achieving sales, offtake, and successful launch plan of new products and marketing campaign in GT channel.
Develop new product launch plan, trade story, deployment plan to ensure impactful launch in-store, as well as, support post-launch evaluation
Ensure the implementation of grand sales, in-store promotions, visibility, and flawless execution by communicating with the sales team, monitoring activities, and evaluating the activities for future improvements and opportunities.
Enhance the effectiveness of pricing and promotions, in alignment with the pricing and promotion guidelines established by the Category Management team
Initiate and lead Channel projects e.g. channel pack, exclusive items to drive sales in Makro
Lead category and business review/ joint business plan and create category growth strategy and action plans with key customers
Plan and monitor trade investments, including premiums, and POS materials.
Support the Marketing team and Category management in developing business cases and P&L, including volume projections and trade investment for in-store activities.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Channel volume, sales, and profit.
Responsible categories' Trade Development (TD) and Trade Investment (TI) spending targets.
Achievement of Commercial targets.
Qualifications :
Master’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in trade marketing or category management, or a related field
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and shopper insights
Excellent leadership and project management abilities.
Strong interpersonal skill to work and communicate effectively with sales, marketing, finance, procurement, and other key functional areas
Strong skill of English communication (both speaking and writing) are mandated requirement
