Associate QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough testing of Player applications across multiple platforms (SCOS, Android, Windows, LG, Samsung Tizen)
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand new features and ensure they meet quality standards
• Investigate and recreate bug reports from customers, narrowing down test cases to the smallest possible scenario
• Perform regression testing to ensure new changes don't negatively impact existing functionality
• Document test results, bug reports, and test procedures clearly and concisely
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies
• Work closely with the development team to ensure quick turnaround on bug fixes and retesting

Requirements

• Previous experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Experience with manual and automated testing techniques
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools
• Basic understanding of web technologies and client-server architectures
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex issues
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively in an agile development environment

Bonus Skills

• Basic programming knowledge (e.g., JavaScript, Python) is beneficial for test automation
• Experience with performance testing and optimization
• Understanding of accessibility testing principles
• Familiarity with API testing
• Experience with cloud-based testing environments
