Get to know the Team:
Country Strategy & Special Projects team is a crucial function of Grab Thailand to formulate country strategies and drive strategic initiatives from planning to execution. This role is a combination of strategic thinking, cross-functional project and new business incubation execution to drive Grab forward.
Get To Know The Role
- Manages high-impact project(s) with direct contact to senior executives in the organization
- Coordinate Country strategic planning/budgeting, strategy consolidation, and OKR monitoring
- Provides market trends/ competitive landscape analysis support to business teams
- Manages internal and external management presentations/reports
The Day-to-Day Activities
- Manages strategic initiatives (cross-vertical and new business incubation) from upstream to downstream
- Formulate a strategic framework to analyze business problems, develop hypotheses, and make recommendations
- Periodically conduct market/competitive landscape research and business case assessment to support strategic planning and business development opportunity sizing
- Assess and make recommendations on cross-functional opportunity, areas of improvement, including any ad hoc request from Thailand Country Head
- Prepares management reports
Qualifications
The Must Haves:
- A Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or in a relevant field with a strong academic track record
- Minimum 3-4 years of work experience in consulting/strategy roles
- Solid quantitative/analytical, problem-solving, and PMO skills
- Proven track record of managing strategic projects with senior stakeholders
- Proficiency in Excel is required, experience with SQL is a plus
- Excellent communication in English
