Area Sales Manager
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s / master’s degree in marketing and/or Business Administration or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of professional experience
• Knowledge of Sales Management within FMCG or food industries (Especially Traditional Trade channel)
• Able to travel and shuffle the assigned area
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
• Good understand business acumen and industry expertise
• Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
• Demonstrates ability to motivate team, resolve conflicts and possesses customer service skills.
• Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
• Able to supervise, lead, communicate and work effectively in a team
• Proficiency in Thai and English.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
• Implement and design on assigned area sales strategy to align with channel and company strategy
• Analyse business performance & opportunity with market data, consumer insight to ensure the continuous adaptation to market trend and market innovation in assigned area
Budget Monitoring
• Manage and monitor A&P budget
• Set volume targets per province and new store acquisition
• Take measures to reduce variances, in order to optimize revenues and margin in assigned region
Distributor Management
• Monitor distributor activity planning and performance in order to drive profitability and sustainable growth through fruitful relationships with the customers in assigned area
Sales
• Provide the rational of monthly sales report of assigned area: Sales Volume, Sales Forecast
• Manage the business review with our business partner
• Manage sales performance and seek for channel growth opportunity
• Expand the business opportunity in TT channel with strong Go-To-Market strategy to drive sales volume
People & Talent Management
• Manage & coach the team for their success and groom the talent for future successor
• Motivate, coach and advice the team member on day-to-day operations and/or problems
