APAC Regional Supply Chain Solutions – Director/Senior Director (Freight-Forwarding)

Key Accountabilities

• Drive the expansion of DP World's client base and revenue streams through strategic initiatives.
• Provide oversight to ensure the high quality of analysis and outputs generated by the solution team.
• Develop and establish the test methodology along with success criteria for assessing the effectiveness of value-chain enhancement solutions spanning various capabilities and regions.
• Facilitate collaborative cross-functional workshops focused on enhancing business processes and developing innovative solutions.
• Document client specifications and preferences to craft business solutions that enhance value-chain integration and performance.
• Manage the pipeline of potential clients by evaluating and qualifying leads for tailored solution offerings.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives by identifying key cost drivers and implementing strategies to enhance cost efficiencies in supply chain operations.
• Develop and present detailed supply chain solutions proposals, considering cost, feasibility and operational impact.
• Take ownership of project deliverables and outcomes, ensuring high standards of quality and client satisfaction in all supply chain solutions provided.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10- 15 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on freight forwarding operations within the APAC region.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing supply chain solutions and driving operational efficiency within the freight forwarding industry.
• Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and compliance requirements across various APAC countries.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams, to ensure smooth end-to-end supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in analyzing supply chain data, identifying trends, and implementing process improvements to optimize freight forwarding operations and reduce costs.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, vendors, and senior management to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and oversee complex supply chain projects within budget and timeline constraints.
• Willingness to travel within the APAC region as needed to drive business success
