Senior Retail Analytics Consultant - Hypermarket

Roles and Responsibilities

• Client Engagement and Problem-Solving:
• Lead engagements with major retailer clients to gain a deep understanding of their business challenges and growth opportunities.
• Partner with retail executives to define problem statements and shape data-driven strategic solutions.
• Analysis Framework and Insight Discovery:
• Oversee the creation of analysis frameworks and guide data scientists in conducting relevant insights discovery.
• Data Interpretation and Strategic Recommendations:
• Interpret complex data sets and translate analytical findings into clear and actionable strategic recommendations.
• Business Case Development:
• Structure data-backed business cases to persuade retailers to invest in the proposed solutions.
• Advisor on Data Analytics:
• Establish yourself as a trusted advisor who guides retail clients on leveraging data analytics to optimize growth.
• Team Leadership and Development:
• Recruit and manage a team of retail consulting members, providing coaching and professional development.
• Client Deliverables and Account Management:
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality client outcomes, timely project execution, and effective account management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field, such as Business, Statistics, or Marketing.
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in relevant roles, including:
• For FMCGs: Trade Marketing, Insight Analyst, Customer Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Shopper Insights.
• For Retailers: Trade Marketing, Customer Insights, Insight Analyst.
• For Agencies: Experience with Nielsen (retail measurement team) and Kantar Worldpanel is a plus.
• At least 3 years of experience in managing retail consulting teams.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders of varying levels across the business.
• Strong presentation skills, both in creating and delivering presentations.
• Proficiency in understanding complex business questions and crafting appropriate briefs.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• A plus if experienced with solutions and data such as dunnhumby, C-smart, and Kantar Worldpanel data.
