As a Product Design Lead at Makro PRO, you'll be the visionary and executor of our product's design strategy. You'll lead with creativity and precision, ensuring our digital solutions are not only functional but also intuitive and visually compelling. Your role is pivotal in steering our product design to be best-in-class.
Your Challenge:
- Design the overall aesthetic and user experience of our product. You'll collaborate with the team to ensure the design aligns with our technological capabilities and business objectives.
- As a seasoned design expert, you will mentor the design team, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence. Your insights will be crucial in code reviews and in solving complex design challenges.
- Play a key role in implementing software engineering practices that enhance code quality, focusing on design aspects like UI/UX, responsiveness, and accessibility.
- Work closely with Tech Leads and Product Owners, aligning the design vision with the product roadmap and technical architecture. Your role involves effective communication with team members, ensuring design choices support the overall product strategy.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated success in leading product design for large-scale applications, with proficiency in design tools and technologies.
- Familiarity with React.js/ReactNative, Typescript, and JavaScript frameworks. Experience with cloud environments and DevOps practices is desirable.
- Strong background in UI/UX design, with an understanding of how design impacts user behavior and interaction.
- Ability to mentor and lead a design team, fostering innovation and high-quality output.
