Business Data Analyst

Job Description:

• Coordinate with teams to gather and consolidate business requirements for designing, developing, and delivering optimal solutions for business reporting and dashboards. Manage the overall plan and timeline of each assignment.
• Responsible for generating and distributing management reports/dashboards in an accurate and timely manner.
• Analyze business information to identify process improvements for increasing business efficiency and effectiveness. Proactively solve business problems by providing data-driven insights, especially through deep analysis of credit card usage and transaction patterns.
• Provide customer support and assist businesses in the development and usage of reports and dashboards, solving problems as they arise to enhance user experience and utility.
• Follow the data management policy, support, and QA activities for data management developments.
• Design and architect scalable data processing pipelines using SQL and PySpark to facilitate data operational activities, including comprehensive analysis of credit card data.
• Define and transform business logic/requirements to build Datamarts and data models that include modules specifically for understanding and leveraging credit card transaction data.
• Employ problem-solving skills to address complex data challenges and optimize the strategic impact of insights derived from data across business functions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Statistics, or related fields.
• 3-10 years of experience in MIS, Business Intelligence, Power BI, and other analytical programs.
• Proficiency in SQL and PySpark is required.
• Experience in the financial services or banking industry, particularly with credit card products, is a big plus.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems with innovative solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Thai.
