Tax Manager

Responsibilities:

Tax:

• Manage tax filings and other tax related reporting in Thailand;
• Review commercial contracts from tax perspectives;
• Identify potential tax risks or uncertain issues, suggest possible solutions and timely communications with the local finance team, treasury team and other teams (such as local business team, admin team and HR);
• Identify local tax initiatives in Thailand;
• Study and research on national and local tax policy developments and trends, sustain a good working relationship with local tax authorities, and proactively participate the state and local tax legislations from a business perspective;
• Tax audit defense, including VAT/GST/SST, Corporate Income Tax and other applicable tax.
• Establish a good and trust relationship with peers.

Accounting:

• Lead Thailand local compliance implement for the local entity, responsible and support for the external audit, tax and other regulatory authorities;
• Track the resolution and closure of the annual audit and financial internal control issues;
• Knowledge about IFRS and TFRS
• Resolve accounting and tax issues related to the local business cases;
• Provide timely support for new business development and provide local financial and tax advice;
• Local contract, invoice and other file management;
• Assist the development of financial and accounting system;

Requirements:

• University Degree on Tax/Economics/Finance/Accounting
• At least 7 years above tax experiences in MNCs or consulting firm (i.e. Big 4) experiences;
• In-depth knowledge in the accounting, taxation and regulations in Thailand
• Strong communication and negotiation skills;
• Proficient in English in both oral and written is a must.
• Conversational level of Mandarin is a plus.
• Proficient in MS applications.
• SAP experience is preferred.
• Detail- Oriented and organized, strong planning and prioritization abilities
• Able to work under pressure and work independently in tight time line, and fast-paced changing environment.
