Description:
The QAQC Owner’s Representative is a site-based resource who enforces Quality Program. He/she works closely with the onsite Data Centre Services (DCS) Team, and contractors to facilitate compliance with construction quality programs and initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Holds the relevant stakeholders accountable for requirements per the contractor’s QA/QC Plan
- Participates actively in all Quality meetings. Participates in other project level coordination meetings as required.
- Review of documentation including project documentation (drawings, RFIs, submittals), vendor/subcontractor QC plans and method statements, completed QC documentation.
- Monitor the FWT/FAT process and ensure FWTs are attended by necessary parties, and the necessary documentation is submitted for FATs. Participate in FWTs if necessary and as directed by DCS.
- Ensure project Quality and Commissioning issues are being reported in the project’s designated platform (BIM360 Field 2.0). Ensure issues are being resolved satisfactorily and in a timely manner. Escalate unresolved issues to DCS as necessary.
- Work towards our goal of “drama-free” FRs and no slips due to Quality or Commissioning.
