Senior Automation Test Engineer - E-Commerce Data Platform (Up to 30 Months Salary)

We are seeking a skilled Senior Automation Test Engineer to join our team and ensure the delivery of high-quality software. This position requires a blend of manual and automated testing expertise, technical skills, and the ability to collaborate to maintain product excellence throughout the development cycle. As a Senior Automation Test Engineer, you will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to test and enhance our systems, ensuring a superior user experience and alignment with business goals.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing for both frontend and backend systems.

• Create and maintain detailed reports on testing progress, defects, and results.

• Review and improve test strategies to optimize quality and efficiency.

• Ensure cross-browser, cross-platform, and device compatibility for applications.

Automation Testing:

• Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Cucumber, Serenity BDD, and Playwright.

• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman and performance testing with JMeter.

• Work with the DevOps team to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git.

• Utilize programming skills in Java or JavaScript to enhance testing frameworks.

Collaboration and Delivery:

• Work with BAs, developers, and product managers to understand requirements, provide input, and ensure alignment.

• Serve as a quality advocate, focusing on delivering features that meet user needs and maintain high standards.

• Assess product readiness and release timelines based on test results and team discussions.

Leadership and Influence:

• Share quality-focused practices and promote a quality-first mindset within the team.

• Mentor team members on testing techniques and workflows to improve overall quality.

• Ensure workflows and processes are consistently followed and improved when necessary.

Continuous Monitoring and Improvement:

• Monitor product performance and user feedback in production environments to identify areas for improvement.

• Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices to continually improve testing processes.

• Drive initiatives to enhance product quality, user satisfaction, and team productivity.
