Procurement Officer

Job description :

• Procure all goods for solar projects (i.e., Cable, Mounting Structure, Cabinet, etc.)
• Perform research to identify new suppliers for Thailand’s market.
• Negotiate and compare price from suppliers.
• Support in local transportation and logistic in Thailand.
• Ensure that the goods is able to delivery on time and on site properly.
• Review contracts to ensure that all terms have been met before signing them.
• Process invoices and purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Keep records of orders placed and shipments received, updating inventory levels based on these records.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations regarding purchasing procedures and best practices.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all supplier inquiries, managing a high volume of inbound calls and emails.
• Assist with the development and implementation of new vendor onboarding processes and procedures.
• Support the Procurement Manager in the negotiation of new contracts and agreements.
• Support frame agreements based on the volume with global suppliers for Thailand (and Asia).

Qualifications :

• Good command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing and developing direct reports.
• Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
• Able to coordinate with other departments within a company for the purchase of specialized materials or equipment.
• Strong written and verbal skills in Thai and English
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, or related field
• 3-5 years professional experience in procurement, supply chain management, or similar role.
