Investment Manager

Responsibility:

• Help define and gradually refine Thai Union’s investment strategy and investment criteria (for M&As, JVs, CVC)
• Identify, filter and screen attractive investment targets that align with the groups 2030 and M&A strategies
• Conduct extensive analysis on potential investments, including in-depth financial modeling
• Help identify synergistic opportunities and coordinate the quantification of such synergies
• Manage the due diligence process, including overseeing commercial, accounting, tax, and legal diligence advisors
• Assist with the ongoing fine tuning of the group’s investment process
• Support with the preparation of business cases, joint business plans and presentations to Thai Union’s Investment Committee
• Support the development of PMI plans and leads specific integration workstreams

Qualifications:

• 5 to 10 years of work experience, ideally with a blend of transaction advisory and corporate roles
• Collaborative team player with a can-do attitude, a growth mindset and a constructive approach to problem solving. Prioritizes getting the deal done and done right.
• Superior analytical and financial modeling skills, and a solid grasp of financial concepts
• Strong understanding of strategy and drivers of strategic value creation (ROIC drivers)
• Long term orientation and comfortable with patient and thoughtful investment decisions
• Fluency in Thai preferred
