Customs and Property Tax Specialist

Role & Responsibilities:

• Analyze and supervise SCCCTH’s import unit(s) and internal parties for correct import duty, Customs clearance rate and property tax compliance.
• Advice to concerned parties the most suitable approach to better manage down import duty and property tax payment.
• Coordinate with Customs broker, shipping agent to ensure correct tariff rate, code.
• Provide corrective and preventive actions to concerned parties on import, export and property tax transactions to mitigate/reduce business transection risk.
• Act as representative of SCCC to cooperate with the Customs Department of Thailand and related government authorities.
• Ensure Import, Export and Customs Clearance Process compliance with International and Thai Law & Regulations.
• Build standard procedures of import customs clearance for internal knowledge management.
• Prepare documents and other related information regarding customs audit.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in law, International Business Management, Accounting or related fields related to Customs, Shipping and/or Logistic
• At least 2 years of working experience related to Customs clearance and shipping process and/or Property tax
• Customs process, HS code and tariff rate, Property tax related laws and regulations
• Presentation, coordination, 3rd party management skills
• Excellent teamwork, result oriented, open minded, eagle to learn, initiative, result oriented, mature and work well under time constraint
