Business Controller - Adhesives Thailand

Your Role

• Manages and steers key financials management activities with precision and timeliness for Thailand - monthly closing, and forecast, strategic planning process and budgets for Strategic Business Units (SBUs)
• Acts as sparring partner to SBU Head on strategic, operative and organizational matters - SEA Automotive OEMs and Automotive Components
• Analyzes development of Strategic Business Unit (SBU) portfolio of, cost structure and corrective measures and provides strategic direction for future development
• Provides support in preparing and evaluating business plans (Investments, Marketing, FTE etc)
• Leads or supports preparation of presentations for Henkel’s Leadership Meetings
• Ensures correct global financial reporting and prepares frequent forecasts where needed
• Executes efficient financial standard processes aligned across all SBUs and business controlling guidelines
• Evaluates SBU strategies, innovations, projects and investment plans; monitors business profitability; assesses risks and opportunities
• Reviews the SBU positioning in the regular BU strategy process
• Supports SBU’s acquisition, integration and divestment processes in financial and strategic dimensions Fosters compliance across relevant Corporate Standards

YOUR SKILLS

• Degree in Business Administration or MBA in Finance or equivalent
• Demonstrated track record as Controller, FP&A, BP&A. At least 5-10 years of relevant experience, preferably MNC
• Accounting, general tax knowledge with good commercial acumen
• SAP experience is a must, and a competent user of excel
• Good communication skills in English to liaise with stakeholders, and presenting in leadership meetings.
• Self-motivated to take on improvement initiatives and good working attitude
• Able to work well both individually as well as in a multi-cultural team environment
• CPA or big 4 preferred
