1. Product Ownership & Strategy 

• Manage the full product lifecycle of the Solar Monitoring Platform, from concept to delivery and improvement. 

• Develop product roadmap and align it with business goals and customer needs. 

• Translate business requirements into actionable user stories and prioritize the backlog. 

  
  

2. Technical & IoT Understanding 

• Understand IoT data models, formats, and protocols (e.g., EDMI meters, inverters, sensors). 

• Collaborate with IoT and solar teams to ensure accurate data integration. 

• Convert energy data (generation, consumption, billing) into software and reporting features. 

  
  

3. Software Development Lifecycle 

• Manage Agile processes (Scrum/Kanban), including sprint planning and backlog refinement. 

• Maintain JIRA boards and coordinate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth delivery. 

  
  

4. Project & Timeline Management 

• Plan project timelines, track progress, and manage risks. 

• Coordinate across multiple technical teams to achieve on-time delivery. 

  
  

5. Stakeholder & Client Communication 

• Act as a key liaison among clients, developers, and IoT teams. 

• Gather and clarify requirements, manage client expectations, and report on project progress. 

  
  

6. Documentation & User Support 

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, API references, and training materials. 

• Ensure proper knowledge transfer and system handover for long-term sustainability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or Management Information Systems. A degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Engineering is considered an advantage.

  
  

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Technical Project Manager, preferably in Energy, IoT, or SaaS. 

  
  

• Strong understanding of solar/energy monitoring systems, IoT data pipelines, or metering devices (e.g., EDMI). 

  
  

• Familiar with software development lifecycle, Agile methods, and JIRA. 

  
  

• Excellent communication and analytical skills — able to bridge technical and business needs effectively. 

  
  

Nice to Have: 

• Experience in energy trading, billing systems, or data dashboards. 

  
  

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), SQL, APIs, or IoT data models.

   

• Background in renewable energy or smart grid technologies.
