Main Duties & Responsibilities

Website Development

• Support OHG and other stakeholders with website development through the implementation of new backend functionalities, front-end components in collaboration with the web designers, testing and maintenance
• Implement and optimize Sitecore dynamic content management system.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as .NET, PHP, JavaScript, SQL, NoSQL and Java are an advantage
• Support and implement necessary digital marketing/Booking applications such as Google API, Facebook API, Sabre Booking Engine, Loyalty portal etc.
• Support in overcoming cross-browser compatibility issues including on mobile phone and keep websites up to date with current ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC language standard and best practices
• Execute processes developed by the Director, E-commerce, CRM, ONYX Rewards & Partnerships and the Associate Director, Web Development to test any system changes or deployments, ensuring minimal disturbances to functionality and usability across all websites and back offices
• Play active role in implementing technical SEO best practices following the lead from the Director, E-commerce, CRM, ONYX Rewards & Partnerships to ensure proper site structure, XML sitemap refreshed weekly, optimal page load speed and microdata implementation such as Schema.org
• Support the full commercial team with general website optimization when required.
• Testing and Documentation
• Thoroughly test every change to ensure accurate business process, functionality, and usability of all websites and SiteCore dynamic CMS
• Assist in documenting changes to database structure, programming code, functionality and maintain full record of applications and partner tracking
• Web-based/ Mobile Application Development & Maintenance
• Support website development and manage web-based application projects to help align technology solution with business requirements
• Develop and maintain CMS platforms such as Sitecore, WordPress, etc.

Tracking

• Develop necessary Digital Marketing applications such as Google API, Facebook API, Twitter API, etc. to help launch an effective marketing campaign.

User Support

• Provide written and electronic user/technical manuals and trainings to facilitate user understanding of SiteCore CMS, Sabre Booking Engine and payment gateway
• Work closely and support all members within commercial division to ensure timely completion of developments and project deliverables
