Job Description

• Develop and Implement Sustainability Strategies: Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive sustainability programs that align with the company's overall mission, including waste management, energy efficiency, water conservation, and responsible sourcing.
• Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with local, national, and international sustainability regulations and standards, such as Edge, LEED, Green Growth 2050, etc.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with hotel management, team members, suppliers, and local communities to build awareness and support for sustainability initiatives.
• Training and Education: Provide training and resources to hotel team members to promote sustainable practices within day-to-day operations.
• Performance Monitoring: Regularly review and analyze the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives, making adjustments as necessary to meet and exceed targets.
• Sustainability Reporting: Prepare detailed reports for senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and recommendations for future sustainability initiatives.
• Collaborate with Global Teams: Work closely with global sustainability teams to align strategies and share best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sustainability or hospitality management.
• In-depth knowledge of sustainability regulations and certifications applicable in the local market.
• Strong analytical, project management, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English and local languages.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
