Job Description

1. Civil Works Supervision

• Oversee all civil works on-site, including land grading, foundation installation, and structural construction for solar panels, inverter stations, and substations.

• Supervise the installation of mounting structures, cable trenches, and other site infrastructure.

2. Design & Specification Compliance

• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project plans.

• Ensure proper implementation of geotechnical recommendations for site preparation and soil compaction.

• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with quality standards, engineering designs, and regulatory requirements.

3. Coordination & Problem Solving

• Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical and operational issues.

4. Quality Assurance & Handover

• Conduct inspections and tests of civil works to verify structural integrity and adherence to specifications.

• Support project handover by ensuring proper documentation and preparation of as-built drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in civil engineering for large-scale construction or infrastructure projects, with at least 2 years in solar EPC projects.

• Proven experience in managing site-based civil construction activities.

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, materials, and construction methods specific to solar energy projects.

• Proficiency in engineering and project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, MS Project).

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is preferred.
