Job Description:

• Design, develop, and maintain intelligent solar monitoring applications that integrate with SCADA, inverters, IoT devices, and sensors. 

• Build AI-powered algorithms for energy performance analysis, fault detection, and predictive maintenance. 

• Develop and manage front-end dashboards and back-end systems for real-time monitoring, reporting, and alert notifications. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, O&M) to understand user needs and translate them into digital tools.

• Integrate external APIs and protocols (e.g., Modbus, MQTT, RESTful) to collect and process solar plant data. 

• Optimize system performance, data security, and user experience across web and mobile platforms. 

• Conduct testing, debugging, and continuous improvement of software tools. 

• Document system architecture, user guides, and technical standards for internal and external stakeholders. 

• Stay up to date with AI and machine learning applications in the energy sector and recommend new features or technologies. 

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. 

• 2+ years of experience in software development, preferably in energy, IoT, or AI-related projects. 

• Strong programming skills in Python (with AI/ML libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch), JavaScript (Node.js, Vue/React), or similar. 

• Experience in AI model development for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, or time series forecasting. 

• Familiarity with energy data systems (e.g., SCADA, solar inverters, EMS/BMS) is a strong advantage.

• Experience with database systems (SQL, NoSQL), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and API integration. 

• Understanding of solar PV system operation and energy data flows is preferred. 

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
