1.Starting a meeting (greeting, small talk, opening)

Meeting for the first time(เจอกันครั้งแรก): Good morning / afternoon, You must be [name], it’s so nice to finally meet you in person/ face to face, Here’s my business card, I’ve heard so much about you.

Small talk (การคุยเรื่องทั่วไป): Weather, Sports, Good restaurant, Books/Shows/Movies, Travel, Local news. ตัวอย่าง How are you? / How was your journey? / Did you have lunch? / Lovely day.

Avoid (หลีกเลี่ยงการพูดถึงประเด็น): Politics, Religion, Finance, Sex, Life & Death, Private things.

Mark the start (ผู้เริ่มการประชุม): If everyone is ready/ shall we start?/ Hello everyone, thank you for coming today. / Thank you all for coming at such short notice.

ถ้ามีคนที่ต้องการแนะนำให้รู้จักในที่ประชุม: Please join me in welcoming [name]. / I’d like to take a moment to introduce [name]. / We’re pleased to welcome [name].

2. State the agenda or objectives บอกจุดประสงค์ที่ต้องการประชุมวันนี้ให้ชัด

ตัวอย่างประโยค: As you might already know,____ / What we need to (decide/talk about/think about) today is… / We’re here today to ______. / The first item on the agenda that we need to discuss today is ____.

3. Raising a point เป็นการเชื่อมในกรณีที่อยากดึงอีกเรื่องมาพูดหรือถ้าต้องการส่งไม้ต่อให้อีกคนพูด

ตัวอย่างประโยค: So, let’s start with _____. / Shall we start with ____? / So, the first item on the agenda is _____. / [name], would you like to introduce this item? / [name], can you tell us how the XYZ project is progressing?

❣️ Tips for introducing yourself in a meeting เคล็ดลับการแนะนำตัวในที่ประชุม

1. Present (Your current role & responsibilities) พูดถึงตำแหน่งและความรับผิดชอบในปัจจุบัน

ตัวอย่าง

• I’m ____[name]___, working in [department] team./ part of [team].
• I look after ____./ I’m responsible for ___. / I’m in charge of _____.

2. Past (Experience & Background) ประสบการณ์ที่เคยทำมา เป็นการบอกคนอื่นว่าเราทำอะไรได้หรือทำอะไรได้ดีแบบสั้นๆ 

ตัวอย่าง 

• I’ve been with the company for [time]. Most recently, I worked on [relevant project/accomplishment].

3. Future (Goodwill) ความตั้งใจดีหรือการแสดงออกว่าอยากร่วมงานด้วย

ตัวอย่าง 

• Looking forward to working with you all on this project. I’m sure it’ll be a great opportunity for us.

• If there’s anything I can support you all, feel free to ping me. I will be happy to assist you with _____.
