The central owner of managing all website content updates based on content briefs from the wider marketing team
Note – website overall design is established by external agencies. The Website Manager makes content changes and my adjust some basic design elements or add promotional pages if experienced in website development skills
Knowledgable and remains up-to-date about website design and content best practices to apply to Kaleido websites to drive engagement and overall website performance
Is the key Kaleido point of contact for website agencies, hotel and food & beverage digital marketing platforms (The Hotel Network, Open Table) and other platforms that integrate with the Kaleido websites
Ensures content is site-ready including copy written by in-house copywriter, correct image size and naming, SEO titles and descriptions are in place etc
Determines, manages and monitors, the key word effectiveness for all websites
Tracks SEO performance and analyses and adjusts key words to optimise as needed
Manages links and backlinks to all Kaleido websites
Adds pages and promotional content to support promotional and advertising efforts led by other areas of marketing
Integrates forms and other 3rd party code as needed, to drive lead generation and/or enhance the visitor digital experience
Identifies and presents to the business, opportunities to increase engagement on the websites such as chat boxes, personalisation of content etc
Works closely with the Digital and Direct Marketing team on Meta, Google and other digital platform campaigns that integrate and track via the websites
Has a test & learn mindset to try and track new website design and content
Establishes processes to manage the internal flow of content update requests
Manages Google Analytics, SEMrush (or similar), Google Search Console, and any other website related analytics – and provides detailed reports to the marketing team and business on results, learnings and recommendations
Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years experience managing website content and optimization in-house or agency for a multiple brand business
Demonstrated results in increasing performance and optimization of website traffic delivery, engagement and booking conversion (revenue delivery)
Proficient in interpreting and developing website performance reports based ondata from Google Analytics, Search Console and other website data tools
Proficient in SEMRush or similar SEO analysis tool
Experienced in key word search identification, implementation and optimization
Experienced in interpreting brand identity and visual identity guidelines for digital application
Ideally some developer experience preferred
