ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY

1.Persuade executive management to continue to demonstrate an exemplary focus on the importance of process safety and devote significant time to process safety improvement efforts and resources

2.Provide technical expertise, consultancy and interpretation of PSM requirement, fire prevention and protection system design code, standard

3.Assess whether process hazard analyses (PHA's) are conducted for each covered process using compiled PS ordered based on a set of required considerations

4.Check the compilation of written process safety information (PSI) including hazard information on Highly Hazardous Chemicals (HHC) standard’s, technology information and equipment information on covered processes

5.Assess impacts of operations on local community based on international standards and measures, such as carbon footprint benchmarking

6.Define a safety review for new facilities and significantly modified work sites to:

•Confirm that the construction and equipment of a process are in accordance with design specifications

•Assure that adequate safety, operating, maintenance and emergency procedures are in place

EDUCATION

• BSC. In Chemical Engineer, Loss management Engineer or Fire Engineer or Safety Engineering at least 10 years’ experience of practical orientated

EXPERIENCE

1.High level of expertise, experience and judgment to influence current and future company fire protection engineering plans, fire and safety engineering, technical standards, specification and design practices.

2.Positive influencing: ability to convince others, gain agreement or acceptance of plans activities and ability to move others willingly towards a desired goal or course of action.

3.Knowledge of risk analysis, process safety management, major incidents investigation and safety audits.

4.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5.Strong analytic thinking and problem-solving skills.

6.Proficient in Microsoft, PHAST, PHA-Pro applications
